One designer that has stood out to me by using fetish as a theme is Alexander McQueen. His Autumn Winter 11/12 collection was based purely on PVC, leather and bondage. The garments are sexy, yet so elegant. His work has inspired me to use shapes and patterns to illuminate parts of the body seen as revealing in other ways. Transparent fabrics, and tight fitting clothing is all the rage for autumn winter, I will include this detail in my work to keep up with the high speed trend that is fetish.
