I was experimenting in the style of Viktor & Rolf, by cutting into fabric to create holes. At first I was layering up leather with squares cut into them, so that all the squares where in line with each other. I then moved on to different shapes, such as circles. The circles inspired me to create 3D garments, so I put them over a wooden bodice to model the garment. I think that this is a easier way of modelling on the a the size is smaller therefore you don't have to sue as much fabric. For something of this material this is a good way of modelling on stand, but for draping I will still use a size 12 mannequin.
