Today in pattern cutting we made the patterns for our interesting trousers. I overcome all the problems I had in the previous lesson like how to applique on leather to polyester with a neat edge. I am on task and have completed my first draft pattern, second draft pattern and each pattern as a individual ready to cut out of fabric next week. The fabrics I am using have become easier to handle since adjusting the machine stictch length so that the leather doesnt rip. The side pannels of leather are being attatch by a 1.5cm seam, the folding the seam under neath the leath and using a top stich to keep the seam in place. The end outcome should look a bit like this.
