Today in pattern cutting e ran over things we had learnt int he first year, then made the more difficult. We began by making basic pockets, then moved on to self faced pockets and designing our own. I was surprisingly good at making pockets, I don't remember enjoying making them the first time round. I become creative and made a pocket that stuck out like what was described as 'King henry the 8th crotch' It wasn't the look i was going for but at least he was famous wearing it. I used bias binding again today, haven't done any since the fashion show where i bias binded all my edges and it took me ages. I knew exactly what i was doing and felt like i was just recapping not learning, so i had a good lesson.
